Certificate in Library Science Examination, 2026 conducted by The Bengal Library Association will be held from 21st September 2026 to 28th September 2026 between 2.00 -- 5.00 PM (except 27 and 28 September 2026) in the Association Building at P-134, C.I.T. Scheme-52, Kolkata-700014. Eligible students are requested to appear the examination in time.

91st Annual General Meeting of The Bengal Library Association will be held on 20th September, 2026 at 12-00 Noon in the Association Building at P-134, C.I.T. Scheme-52, Kolkata-700014. All valid members of The Bengal Library Association are requested to attend the Meeting in time.

Librarians' Day, 2026 will be celebrated on 16th August, 2026 between 9.00 AM -- 4.00 PM at Panagarh Gram Primary School of Panagarh, Paschim Bardhaman. All are cordially invited to attend the programme.

বঙ্গীয় গ্রন্থাগার পরিষদের প্রথম সভাপতি কবিগুরু রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের ৮৬তম প্রয়াণ দিবস স্মরণে বঙ্গীয় গ্রন্থাগার পরিষদের উদ্যোগে এবং বাংলা নববর্ষ উদ্‌যাপন কমিটি, বিধাননগরের সহযোগিতায় পরিষদের বিধাননগর ভবনের সভাকক্ষে (এফডি-৩০এ/১, সেক্টর-৩, বিধাননগর, কলকাতা-৭০০১০৬) আগামী ৯ আগস্ট ২০২৬, রবিবার বিকাল ৪টেয় রবীন্দ্রস্মরণে আলোচনা ও সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। এই অনুষ্ঠানে সঙ্গীত, নৃত্য, আবৃত্তি ও আলোচনায় চিরনতুন রবীন্দ্রনাথের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করা হবে।

এই অনুষ্ঠানে সকলের সানুগ্রহ উপস্থিতি একান্ত কাম্য।

Applications forms are available for admission in the Certificate Course In Library Science, Week-end Session, 2026-27 organized by Bengal Library Association from the Association's office at P-134, C.I.T. Scheme-52, Kolkata-700014 on 25.07.2026 to 29.08.2026 [between 2-7 PM except Sunday and Govt. Holidays] by submission of Rs.100/- by cash or Demand Draft (in favour of Bengal Library Association payable at Kolkata) or through online mentioned in the Form. Filled up application forms must be submitted within the above mentioned dates in the Association Office by-hand or by-post together with the self-attested documents mentioned in the form.
