Although the Bengal Library Association organizes these conferences, it is not restricted to the members of the BLA. The main objectives of the Bengal Library Conference are to review the development of nationwide library services as well as state library services. Library organizers, library administrators and persons interested in library affairs can attend the Conference. Government of West Bengal extends the support to organize this Conference in many ways.
